Staying at the five-star Carlton world-famous hotel was a delightful experience with perfect beds and modern air conditioning. The patio doors opening out onto the pool area added a special touch to the room. However, the one-bedroom apartment setup couldn't accommodate seven persons, which was a drawback.
My stay at Golden Tulip was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were of a good size, but I was a bit disappointed that they weren't big enough to contain the bed. On the bright side, the hotel promised to reimburse us for the breakfast, given our unpleasant experience. The service staff were friendly and helpful overall, although there was a moment when my husband felt he was being mocked on the phone. The location was great, being within walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants, making it convenient to enjoy Cannes. The dining experience was enjoyable with a comprehensive buffet, but there was a slight hiccup as the receptionist had given incorrect information about breakfast. The facilities were satisfactory, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.
